Bachelor of OT with First Class Honours, 2001.

Jo is an Occupational Therapist with over 20 years experience, working in both the UK and Australia with clients with complex physical disabilities, their families and support networks.

Jo is experienced in providing assessments and recommendations for Assistive Technology (aids and equipment) including customised manual and power wheelchairs, power attachments, beds, specialist seating, home environmental controls, minor and complex home modifications, including bathroom, kitchen and access re-design, passenger vehicle modifications, moving and handling, functional capacity and daily living skills assessment and retraining, housing needs assessments, funding body applications and reports.

Jo is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) , and is a Member of Occupational Therapy Australia (OTA.)

Jo also has additional qualifications in Complex Home Modifications - Successful completion of Nationally Recognised Training modules:

  • CPPACC5016A – Provide expert access advice on renovations to private dwellings

  • CPPACC4020A – Provide access advice on building renovations
